Terms of service
Last updated August 24, 2026
Agreement
By creating an account or using Founder Brief, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to do that, and “you” means the company.
The service
Founder Brief generates a daily summary of your startup's activity from tools you choose to connect. A free account connects two tools. Founder, at $19 a month, connects all of them. Everything else — the brief itself, the daily email, chat — is the same on both.
Who we are
Founder Brief (FndrBrief) is an independent product operated from the United Kingdom. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction — though if you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections your own country's law gives you. Reach us at info@fndrbrief.com.
Your responsibilities
Connect only accounts and databases you are authorized to connect. Keep your sign-in email secure. Don't use the service to process data you don't have the right to process.
Billing
Founder is $19 per month, charged to your card when you subscribe and on the same day each month after that, until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
If you change your mind, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full — no reasons needed. After that, the cancellation terms below apply.
You can cancel any time from Settings. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep Founder until the end of the period you have already paid for — we don't refund part-months, and we don't cut you off early either. If we change the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, and the new price applies from your next renewal after that notice. You can cancel before it takes effect.
When Founder ends, your account returns to two connected tools. Nothing is deleted: the tools over the limit are paused with their settings intact, you choose which two run, and subscribing again turns the rest back on. Stored keys for a paused tool are removed after 30 days, after which reconnecting it takes a moment longer.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and we may add, change or withdraw features as the product develops. The version on this page is always the one that applies. If we withdraw something you are paying for, or change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we'll tell you by email first — at least 30 days ahead for anything affecting a paid account — and it applies from your next renewal. Smaller changes take effect when we post them here, and the date above always says when that last happened. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, that is your acceptance of it; if you'd rather not, cancel before then.
No advice
Briefs and chat answers are generated summaries of your own data. They are not financial, legal, or investment advice. You make the decisions; we make the mornings shorter.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranties. We aim for every brief to be accurate and on time, but we are not liable for missed briefs, third-party API outages, or decisions made from your data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time: cancel Founder in Settings, or delete your account there to remove your data altogether. Deleting is immediate and cannot be undone — see the privacy policy for what that removes.
We may suspend or close an account immediately if it abuses the service, the APIs it connects to, or other users. Otherwise, we may close an account or stop offering the service with at least 30 days' notice by email, and we'll refund the unused part of anything you have already paid.
